About — Bar Uma
Bar Uma is Uma’s sister cocktail bar. Designed by Perth designer State of Kin, Bar Uma is a space that represents where Perth’s been and where it’s going. It’s contemporary and innovative, yet still friendly and familiar.
State of Kin were given a brief to design a space that was distinctly Australian in character. They drew upon the iconic work of Australian painter John Olsen for inspiration, using colours and textures found in the Australian landscape.
Bar Uma is warm and inviting with colours inspired by West Australian sunsets – muted tangerine hues, dark timbers and delicate pinks on the coral coast, and the salt lake phenomenon, Lake Hillier
Guests will be impressed by furniture pieces designed by world-renowned designers such as Doshi Levien, Arne Jacobsen and Patricia Urquiola.
Bar Uma’s cocktails are inspired by Peruvian cuisine and contemporary dining in Perth, and are as carefully designed as the space itself – tropical cocktails with a focus on pisco, rum and tequila, with Bar Uma’s Classic Pisco Sour as the star.
Bar eats are designed to eat while drinking. Small bites from Uma’s kitchen, BAR UMA offers light and fresh Peruvian tasters.
